I created the "Be Your Own Muse" design to remind us, as women, that we must love, cherish our bodies; For ourselves, and as an example for our daughters/god-daughters/sisters, who look up to us. Because the body we should love the most, cherish the most, is the one we have. "Be Your Own Muse" is a nod to the artist Frida Kahlo, who proudly declared "I am my own muse." ❥ This body that does NOT have to be like those retouched images, conveyed everywhere ❥ This body that is our vehicle for life, this body that has carried, or not, life ❥ This body that we must love, rather than do violence to it ❥ This body that is unique and beautiful, as it is ❥ This body that is our only and precious temple
